I made a reservation for 6pm on Friday as I read in previous reviews that it can get pretty difficult to find a spot here in the evenings on a weekend. However, we ended up coming in at 5:05pm as our schedule changed and we saw that only three tables were occupied. We told the hostess that we had a reservation and if it was okay to just dine in now and he politely informed us that he could do that for us. He got two menus and a drink menu before leading us to a booth in the far left corner near the bar area. It did take several minutes for us to get someone to bring us water and take our order but it was fine as we weren't in a rush. We ordered takoyaki, Front Street Roll, 5 alarms (level 5 spicy) and Katsu Chicken Rice. The vibe here is very modern with orange being a central part of the theme probably due to the name of the restaurant. It is well lit and provides a nice atmosphere of being intimate and cozy for any occasion. I saw that they have a birthday platter on the menu which is cute and I am curious to know what that all entails. At the bar, there was a large screen playing Chopped which was neat as I am a personal fan of the show. There are several tables with chairs, booths, and bar seating. They also have another section of the restaurant we didn't get to see so they are able to handle all sizes of parties. Service here was very friendly and professional from the hostess, waitresses, and employees who delivered our food. They offer a huge carafe of water to do refills ourselves. We got a water refill as soon as they saw we were out of water. I just wished they put in the fridge or had it colder. The restaurant was starting to get packed around 6pm but all the employees were doing their best to provide efficient and professional service. The food here was impressive! We really enjoyed everything! The takoyaki was the perfect size, taste and texture! The Front Street roll was refreshing but the taste of the kani mixture was a bit off to me though. It had the same texture as canned tuna so I wasn't a huge fan and let my boyfriend take more of the pieces. He enjoyed his chicken katsu but he say that the chicken tasted flavorless and that the sauce really carried all the flavors. I was very happy with my 5 alarm ramen as they did deliver on the spices and I did ask for chili oil (which they make in house) just in case but it was spicy enough on it's own. They gave lots of different vegetables and the chashu was fantastic. Definitely would love to come back to try out of some their other offerings and drinks but we were very happy with our visit!

An absolute hidden gem for Ramen in Issaquah. Randomly stumbled on this place on the way back from a drive and boy, what a great find. The place was quite busy but we were lucky to get a table. They had a nice ambience and the food was decently priced not overly expensive. They had great vegetarian options. The Green Beans sushi was good but the highlight was their ramen. Both the tan tan and their miso ramen was delicious and outstanding. Easily one of the best ramen places on the east side. Highly recommend!

This place was packed on a Sunday night. I see the appeal and the popularity among families. This place is kid friendly but also offer cocktails and well drinks! They have a small bar area that has some separation from dining. I am pleased to see that my chirashi bowl's fish are sliced generously and not chopped-- which I don't like! The ramen was good as well. Overall great experience.

We tried coming here on a Friday night and the place was packed so we ended up making a reservation for Sunday dinner instead. The takoyaki was the crispiest we've had in the States and was very decision. I wouldn't have minded if they put on more bonito flakes and seaweed though. The texture of the ramen noodle was good but the broth was a little salty and not as well balanced. The jade roll was interesting since it didn't have rice but we liked how big the pieces of sashimi were in the roll - it was a very refreshing bite. The Orenji Dragon Roll wasn't bad either. We made sure to sign up with Toast to collect points for every visit.

Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 One of the best place for ramen in South of Seattle. I have been eating here since couple of years and taste is consistent. So I know what I'm getting into.

My 19-year old introduced me to Orenji. He's been going for years and loves this place. He usually orders the 5-Alarm and the blue drink. I REALLY enjoyed my bowl and will definitely be going again. It's a cute little place with really nice staff. If Issaquah is out of your way, make it a day and check out Gilman Village for some shopping after eating here.

This was a takeout order and, while we were too tired for extended human interaction at the time, the restaurant looked like a place I'd like to dine in. Our food was ready about five minutes before schedule and brought out by the host with a smile. After a larger lunch, we went a bit lighter here for dinner. My wife enjoyed a small miso soup to start. It was well seasoned, pleasantly warm, and I don't think there was a drop left when she finished. She had the Orenji Dragon roll, which was tasty. It wasn't as crunchy as she expected for a roll with shrimp tempura, but did have a decent mix of tastes and textures. I tried one of the rolls as well and it was good, but not standout. It's the type of roll I enjoy, but wouldn't reorder if that makes sense. It's tasty but somehow not memorable and I wouldn't drive past other sushi places to get it again. That being said, it was my wife's meal (not mine!) and she finished with a smile. I had the shoyu ramen and was very happy. The broth and toppings were separate, which is standard for takeout ramen, but I still appreciate. It was fantastic and I don't know that I'd change a thing. The broth was rich, smooth, and tasty. The chasu pork was tender and flavorful. The egg was firm, with a yolk the texture of custard. The only disappointment for me was that I was using a hotel teaspoon instead of a proper ramen spoon and I can't hold that against Orenji! I've been looking for a good ramen place on the eastside for a few years, after being disappointed by several other restaurants. I think I'd try the Tonkotsu, 5 Alarms, or Spicy Beef next time but the important thing is that I hope there IS a next time. Issaquah is a drive for us, but if I'm in the area I know what I want for lunch.

Plenty of parking available in the lot outside of the strip mall. Clean and well lit restaurant. A very large menu selection with sushi, noodles, and bentos. The fish was all very fresh and the owner said they get daily delivery. Was just disappointed that the lunch menu wasn't well advertised. Apparently you have to scan the QR code on the menu to get the lunch options. We would have considered the 2 sushi rolls option and the lunch chirashi if we had known. Super friendly staff.

We were in the Issaquah area for a Sunday marathon, and Orenji Sushi & Noodles provided the perfect carb boost. Just a short drive from our hotel, with ample private parking and a Yelp check-in discount on one of their signature rolls, it was an unbeatable opportunity! The Great: The food! My wife ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, broth was full flavored and the noodles we done nicely. Char Siu was tender and the mushrooms provided a nice contrast in textures. I took advantage of the yelp check in offer and ordered Dragon Angry which had a crispy shrimp tempura inside and topped with a spacy imitation crab and eel. Also ordered a side of of their Ikura and Unagi nigiri, they definitely do NOT skimp on the seafood! The Good: The food was delivered very fast, presented/plated nicely, and our service was solid with several different staff checking on our table frequently. The menu is very large and varied, I just wish we were here longer to sample additional items! The Okay: My only wish was the unagi sauce on the roll was a tad too heavy and sweet for my liking. It wasn't bad but it did tend to overpower some of the flavors. Overall: The restaurant itself was very clean and modern, very welcoming with lots of seating. Prices were decent, I did have a 300 ml bottle of sake which really completed the experience! I'd highly recommend Orenji Sushi & Noodles!
